Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is taking action against Vice Chancellor and asked him to resign from his post.ABVP took this step when the VC permitted Rahul Gandhi to address students in a city college where he encourged students for joining politics.According to ABVP this acts amounts to violation of the rules of the university.
ABVP assistant coordinator Gaurav Randive expressed his views to reporters in this regard was that permitting Rahul Gandhi to use the college campus for the benefits of his political party would mean that Devi Ahilyabai Vishwa Vidyalaya (DAVV) has now become a Congress campus. He pointed towards a question on Jnauary,19 in which it was admitted by Rahul Gandhi that the meeting in the auditorium was of Nation Students Union of India (NSUI).
Rahul Gandhi asked students to join in great numbers the party’s frontal organisations – NSUI and Youth congress.He told students to do so by saying that they can bring all the important changes in the country after joining politics only.
As per the rules laid down by DAVV in is not permitted to anyone to use the university premises for the benefits of any politival party.According to DAVV considering the moral grounds vice chancellor A S Sherawat have to resign from his post. In his A S Sherawt’s argument is that the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was invited just as a guest to address the students and to guide him for doing better in their future life.
